Scramblers Restaurants is catching the attention of hungry Florida residents as we make our first expansion push out of the Midwest with the addition of five new eateries in the Sunshine State. Our expansion plans were featured in a recent edition of the Florida Times-Union<\/a>.<\/p>

To extend our nationwide footprint, Scramblers plans to open five company-operated locations in the Jacksonville, FL, area over the next five years. Scramblers explored a number of cities throughout the Southern U.S. before selecting the dynamic location of Jacksonville, which offers 22 miles of beaches for locals and tourists alike and is a vibrant cultural hub with a rich history. The city is also roughly the same size as and shares similar customer demographics with Columbus, Ohio, where Scramblers already has 14 locations. Jacksonville offers high-visibility real estate and a strong retail base, making it a prime location for growth. Scramblers is already fielding inquiries from potential franchisees in the area who want to help grow the brand in the South.<\/p>

Scramblers opened its first breakfast restaurant in 1989 under the name Caf\u00e9 Marie. The mom-and-pop restaurant focused on serving hearty portions of made-from-scratch menu items in a family atmosphere. Over the past 30 years we\u2019ve evolved our brand to stay efficient and on top of the industry. By primarily focusing on franchise expansion, Scramblers has grown to 26 units scattered throughout Ohio and Michigan.<\/p>

We\u2019re ready to hatch our brand in Florida by treating residents and tourists to our extensive breakfast and lunch menus, including bottomless pancakes, waffles, and French toast. Our first Florida location is under construction and on track to open in November at Deerwood Village Mall in Jacksonville, and the second restaurant will follow next year. Scramblers is scouting real estate for the remaining three restaurants.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
